The Arc and Anvil was started in 2001 by Don Mills. Driven by an obsession with cars, Don has held many positions in the care, maintenance, repair, and restoration of the automobile. It all began in the late 70’s with Don’s beloved gas station position, welding fabrication shop , management of core rebuilds and restorations at a major British Spare Parts Distributor, various positions in mechanical and body repair shops.
He is a member of The Oldsmobile Club of America, Studebaker Driver’s Club, North Carolina ABANA, and International Automotive Appraisers Association, as well as a NADA advisor board member. His other company, Bullseye Automotive Appraisal, serves all kinds of customers in establishing value in many cases including pre-purchase inspections, diminished value, and insurance/court disputes.
